Long term parking. 2011 - 2012
In landscapes dominated by rain and a sense of melancholy, the cars of Long Term Parking seem ready to charge into a pile of bricks or race off in the muddy furrows left by old vehicles. Flipping through this diorama of abandoned landscapes, you experience the static nature of long established truths. Among the rained-drenched parking lots, savaged median strips and gravel-strewn streets engulfed in haze, these lonely cars quietly take their place, escapist vehicules no longer. No narrative clue can alleviate the mysterious tension that fills these still places. Charged like magnets, landscapes which appear dead and inert somehow succeed in overcoming their own monotony - Marine Morin
